The name “Dark Vocals” has been circulating the New York City nightlife for some time now, it’s become synonymous with the dark and gritty techno scene that engulfs the main stages of DJ performances by Ari El, a well-known techno DJ and Producer in the New York City area. The always anticipated and never replicated Dark Vocals events have been a staple of Ari El’s hard work behind the DJ booth and studio allowing for a fast-growing crowd of supporters to flood the dance floors in an almost cult-like fashion.
Ari El has been making music and standing out for over a decade with his mesmerizing DJ sets and exclusive mashups that make his events so unique and exclusive. Ari El has released music on labels such as Waveform, Nervous Records, Unity Records, and his music has been supported by artists such as Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Victor Calderone, Danny Tenaglia, and more. “I spend hours searching for the right music before I perform, especially techno with a little bit of vocals and there isn’t a one-stop-shop to all of this, and It’s what I want, for Dark Vocals to be that spot DJs and listeners go to to get techno-vocals without going crazy,” said Ari El on a phone call with us, “I also want to make it easy for young producers to send demos and ultimately give them an avenue for their music to thrive in without the big label feel” – Ari El.
Dark Vocals is set to debut it’s first release in April of 2021 as the long-awaited EP “The Spell” with 3 new unreleased tracks by Ari El. This EP will spearhead a new revolution in techno/dance music and shall go down in history as the first record ever to be distributed under the Dark Vocals brand.
